The Kırşehir Faculty of Education, which is considered the beginning of our university, was opened in 1961 as a Male Teachers' School and was converted into an Education Institute in the 1974-1975 academic year. In 1982, it was converted into a two-year Education College and was connected to Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education. In 1988, the duration of education was increased to four years and in 1992, it became Kırşehir Faculty of Education with Law No. 3837. Previously connected to Gazi University, Kırşehir Faculty of Education was connected to our Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, which was established with Law No. 5467 dated 01.03.2006, after its name and affiliations were changed.
