Objective
To train individuals who will use information technologies effectively in every environment, who can work as educational technologists, information technology specialists, educational technology consultants, who have a command of current and innovative information and communication technologies for the formation of an information society, and who can realize the effective integration of these technologies into education. In this way, students are expected to contribute to the development and progress of the society in which they live.
Mission
The mission of the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology is to help prepare outstanding teachers, educators, scholars and researchers. In addition, to support and develop professional instructional design, using the art of science, learning and teaching together, using research methods involving various paradigms, using technology effectively, analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating instructional practices effectively.

Graduation Requirements
To have all the necessary conditions for graduation in Kırşehir Ahi Evran University education and training regulations, to have taken 240 ECTS courses.
Employment Opportunities
Graduates will be able to work as “Information Technologies Teacher” or “Instructional Technologist” in primary and secondary schools (public-private). There are also job opportunities in many fields such as web page design, production of teaching materials, instructional technology expertise, information and communication technology usage courses, etc. They can work in Software Sectors and Information Processing and Human Resources Centers of Public and Private Organizations. In addition, our graduates can work as academic staff in related departments of universities.
