Mission

It aims to train teachers and specialists who adopt contemporary, social, secular, educational values, fulfill their social responsibilities, are aware of their role in education, follow developments in education, adopt innovations and make them a way of life, think creatively and critically. It has undertaken to take part in scientific, social and cultural activities, to be sensitive to the educational problems of educational institutions, to interact with educational institutions, to guide the practices of institutions, to contribute to the development of education in the in-service training process as well as in the pre-service training process.

Vision

The vision of the Education Programs and Teaching is to contribute to the development of the country by overcoming the problems in the field of education by addressing the problems of education in a multidimensional way, producing scientific solutions to the problems. In addition to professional knowledge and skills, it is to train teachers who have internalized professional values and apply them throughout their professional life; internalized national, spiritual and universal values. In addition to teaching profession courses at undergraduate level, our department offers graduate courses at master's and doctoral level. Our aim is to train qualified and self-renewing experts in the field of curriculum and instruction who are preferred in the field of graduate education.

Graduation Requirements

Each student who starts education in our department must be successful in 240 ECTS and 157 credit courses.

Teacher candidates who take vocational courses in our department have the opportunity to work in the public and private sectors after graduation and have the opportunity to continue their academic career development by obtaining graduate degrees.
