Objective
- To ensure that teacher candidates receive theoretical and practical information regarding professional knowledge and elective courses within the scope of our department,
- To ensure that people who produce solutions in the field of lifelong learning and adult education are trained,
- To ensure that academic staff and students produce quality and original publications in national and international arenas.
Mission
To strengthen the bond between practice and theory for the professionalization of lifelong learning and adult education, and to conduct research that will contribute to the theoretical foundations of adult education.
Vision
To share theoretical knowledge that teacher candidates need in lifelong learning and adult education courses, to be a department that allows teacher candidates to develop new educational designs by examining existing practice examples and to conduct original research in this field.
Graduation Requirements
A student who is about to graduate must first successfully complete all of his/her courses and take at least 157 credits and 240 ECTS courses.
Employment Opportunities
Teacher candidates who take vocational knowledge coded courses within our department can work in public institutions and private sectors when they graduate. They can also continue their education through master's and doctoral degrees and have an academic career.
