Objective
- To provide theoretical and practical knowledge in mathematics and science education,
- To train people who propose solutions for the deficiencies in mathematics and science education,

Mission
With the undergraduate programme carried out on the basis of contemporary approaches in mathematics and science education; to educate students who are aware of contemporary measurement and evaluation approaches, who can organise teaching activities in line with technological developments, who can use different teaching methods and strategies in teaching processes, and who can follow the studies in the field.
Vision
Teaching-learning methods and strategies, self-study, lifelong learning, observation, teaching others, presentation, critical thinking, teamwork, effective use of informatics is to be a department that will increase the skills of students.
Graduation Requirements
Students who have reached the graduation stage must have successfully completed all their courses and must have taken a minimum of 157 credits and 240 ECTS courses.
Employment Opportunities
Our graduates can work as mathematics and science teachers in public or private educational institutions. They also have the opportunity to work as academic staff in the related departments of universities in many fields. Graduates can find the opportunity to make a career in different fields in public institutions and private sector. They can also have an academic career by continuing their education through master's and doctoral degrees.
