To raise students who are committed to the basic principles of the teaching profession, human rights, national and universal values, who can be role models for society, who have 21st century skills and sufficient skills in the field of classroom education, who can use educational technologies effectively, who have the ability to solve educational problems according to the needs of the age and the expectations of society, who care about democracy and ethics, and who are open to continuous development.
Vision
To be a department that makes significant contributions to the classroom education that our country needs with the qualified teachers it trains, fulfills its responsibilities regarding the teaching profession, closely follows and successfully implements developments in the field as a department of classroom education, guides the future, and is a department that is preferred primarily at national and international levels by using its human resources effectively.
Graduation Requirements
A student who is about to graduate must first successfully complete all of his/her courses and take at least 157 credits and 240 ECTS courses.
Employment Opportunities
They have the opportunity to work in many areas such as public and private primary schools. Graduates can find career opportunities in various areas such as public institutions and private schools. They can work as classroom teachers. They can also continue their education with master's and doctorate degrees and have an academic career.
