The mission of the Department of Turkish Education is to train teachers and academicians who are committed to the basic values of the Republic, who renew themselves based on learning and teaching, who can think critically, who are open to innovations, who follow the developments in their field, who are at peace with themselves and their environment, who know contemporary teaching methods.

Vision

The vision of the Department of Turkish Education is to be a department that guides change and development in the Turkish education system in general and in the field of Turkish Education in particular, and to be a department that educates competent teachers in the field with qualified research / development studies.

Graduation Requirements

Students who have reached the graduation stage must have successfully completed all their courses and must have taken a minimum of 157 credits and 240 ECTS courses.

Graduates of the Department of Turkish Education have the opportunity to work in many fields. Graduates can find the opportunity to make a career in different fields in public institutions and private sector. In addition to public institutions, they can also work as teachers in private educational institutions. They can also have an academic career by continuing their education through master's and doctoral degrees.
