The Department of English Language Teaching aims to train prospective teachers who are well-equipped in their profession for the purpose of teaching English as a foreign language, have a good command of pedagogical and practical theories, practices, methods, approaches, views and techniques in foreign language teaching, can think critically, adopt contemporary principles, adapt to technological developments and are open to continuous improvement in every field.

Graduation Requirements
The student who reaches the graduation stage must have successfully completed all the courses and must have taken a minimum of 157 credits and 240 ECTS courses. In order to graduate from the program, students must successfully complete all compulsory courses, including pedagogical and linguistic courses, and fulfill the teaching practice process. They are also expected to achieve the minimum grade point average set by the university and demonstrate proficiency in English teaching methods.
Employment Opportunities
Graduates of the English Language Teaching program can work as teachers or lecturers in various educational institutions such as public schools, private schools, language courses and higher education institutions. They can also work as curriculum developers, language assessment specialists, educational consultants or continue their academic studies in areas such as applied linguistics and educational technologies.
